In total, you have about 90 varieties of tulips to choose from (early, mid, and late-flowering varieties). For $6.49 your student picks their own 3 tulips from an 80-acre tulip farm.

Here’s how it works:

• Take a picking basket, which is available on the field.
• Pick the tulips you want to buy and create your own wonderful bunch of tulips!
• Bring us your tulips—we will wrap the tulips for you beautiful flower paper and put a special gel on the stems to preserve your tulips until you can get them home.
• Take your tulips home or enjoy the rest of your day—the gel will preserve them all day long!

Styling Advice

The gel keeps the tulips fresh for the rest of the day. Once you bring your tulips to their new home, wash the gel off and put the tulips in water. Use your favorite vase, or even a bucket, basket, or planter, to display your tulips. Then place them outside, maybe on your terrace or porch—just pick a place where you can enjoy them in the weeks ahead.
