Welcome to Lego Club!

This month’s Lego Challenge will be “Easter Celebration”. Children are encouraged to build something related to Easter, it could be something serious like Christ’s Crucifixion or something fun like Easter Bunny or Egg Hunting. Let their creativity shine through their creations!

After our Lego presentations we can go have some lunch and hang out at the playground across the street. Bring some snacks and blankets and let’s hope that Texas weather will cooperate with us!☺️

Lego Club takes place every last Friday of the month at Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. When you park in front of the building, please, be aware that the first four parking spaces belong to their staff and that we are allowed to park anywhere else but there. Thank you!

During our Lego Club meeting, your children may either build something ahead of time and bring it to share during ‘show and tell,’ or they can choose to build something while at club with other children. Most kids have their creations already built when they arrive, but either way, we’ll have some free-build time in the beginning, followed by Show-and-Tell by age. We will have  three age groups: Pre -K, 5-8, and 9-12.

This is NOT a drop-off event, and parental participation is expected.

Children are given the opportunity to meet new friends, interact with others, share together, use imagination, and practice listening and speaking skills. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet other FHIS homeschoolers for fellowship! Depending on the mix of kids each month, older children may have the opportunity to ‘teach’ the younger ones how to create various simple objects; or, we may have games or a ‘contest’, with two groups creating lego scenes, utilizing teamwork.

CANCELLATIONS

THERE IS NO WAIT LIST for Lego Club.

All cancellations will be done by the club’s organizer, as the website’s system will not allow you to do so. If you do need to cancel, please contact me as soon as you are aware of it. This will open up spaces for anyone who was hoping to attend and could not.

RSVP DETAILS

When you RSVP, please include the total number of people in your group, counting yourself and ALL children, even little ones.

If you have any questions, feel free to text me at 214-850-1158.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

  1. Hello, Lego Club Friends
    Christ is Risen!
I am so sorry that I won’t be able to run Lego Club this Friday due to family commitments, but Kylea Bitoka will be there to fill in for me. Thank you, Kylea!😍
Don’t forget about our month’s theme “Easter” and please reserve the first 4 parking spaces for the Boys and Girls Club’s staff. Have a great time and I will see you for our last meeting on May 31st.😊
