I am so excited to finally announce our first Frisco HIS Chess Tournament!!!
We will have 16 participants and the tournament will be based on a one game elimination rule. When you sign up, please include all your family’s members if you want to assist at the event. The chess players and their families will have priority when it comes to attendance. You do not have to remain till the end of the event, if your child has finished playing. At the end, there will be a trophy acceptance ceremony for the first three places, and also, everyone who participated in the Tournament will be receiving certificates.Water and snacks will be provided to childrens who participate in the Tournament, because we want to make sure they will stay hydrated and not cranky.😊
All FHIS members who choose to attend this event, please be aware that if you come with little ones you might want to help with keeping them entertained in some way, so they won’t disturb the players. You can always take them on the 2nd Floor where is the small children area and they can “blow-off some steam” and come back when you think it’s ok for them to do so.
