Frisco HIS would like ALL the mom’s to join together, as we strive to fulfill 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and “…encourage one another and build each other up…”. All our moms are vital to the success of FHIS and we want to pour into each other , as well as be poured into. That means we need those new to homeschooling moms, the seasoned moms who have graduated a child or children, and all those mom who fall in between!! That is YOU, my friend!
As Gwen spoke about at the Kick Off Meeting, Frisco HIS’ mission is to “provide fellowship and support to homeschooling families”, so we will spend time in fellowship and getting to know new members, as well reconnecting with those friends from years past. Come prepared to be fed and encouraged and make new friends! We saw a great outpouring of homeschool families, who are ready to engage and get connected, at the Kick Off Meeting and look forward to getting us connected.

Hi Amy! The locations we are looking at are in the central Frisco area. Currently we have it planned for le Madeleine in Frisco, however, we are keeping our options open at the current time so we can make sure this will hold as many moms that would like to participate. As for what we will be doing? We will have loads of fun, get to know other moms, support each other and you will leave encouraged in your homeschool journey. That is our desire!

I am a hopefully-maybe. It really depends on cost/fee – it’s a little tight right now for our budget.

Anyone on here remember the good old days at Steak and Shake until the wee hours? Good times! These meetings were so valuable to me as a new homeschooler back in the day. For the newbies on here, it will be well worth your effort to come. You deserve this! Come and be encouraged!
@trishcrowder, I remember those days! They are so apart of my early homeschooling memories! Those nights I learned new stuff, laughed (hard), sometimes cried, was encouraged and spurred on to continue another month of homeschooling! Look forward to seeing you tomorrow night!
