Lets see where billions of dollars are printed from an enclosed walkway, which is suspended above the production floor! Over half of the nation’s currency order is produced in Fort Worth. Available before or after the free self-guided tour, the experience includes an informative theater film, and visitors have the opportunity to walk through two floors of interactive exhibits and displays showcasing currency history and the intricate art of currency manufacturing.
Please arrive on time to allow plenty of time to go through security. Also, note that the tour over the production floor is a 45 minute walking tour that spans over 1/4 mile. Follow the Clip-n-Mail instruction below for this FREE event.
NOTE:
The following items are PROHIBITED IN THE BUREAU and must be left in your car:
**Cell Phones, Cameras & Videocameras
**Book bags, backpacks, aerosol sprays, any pointed objects such as knitting needles, scissors, nail files & knives.
**Food & drinks.

There is a $15 DEPOSIT to register for this field trip. RSVP on friscohis.org, however, your deposit check must be received within 3 business days or your RSVP will be deleted to allow for others sign-ups. When you attend the field trip, your check will be given back to you. If you cancel within 24 hours notice of the field trip date, your check will be torn up. The deposit is for the purpose of keeping the best of reputations with all of our field trip facilities, incentive to keep our commitments and to give courtesy notice to our coordinators.
