I am new to the group – do we bring the whole family to this event or is just a mom’s only event?
Hi Alexis, welcome to the group! The Kick Off Meeting is not specifically for the kids, but rather the moms (& dads). With that said, we understand that sometimes the moms need to bring the kids in order to attend. Children are welcome, just know that there will not be any activities for kids. Pre-Teens & Teens may want to come to meet up with others that will be those tables or get to know the leadership. I hope that helps, @alexist.
ok, thank you!!
Also, it might be helpful to note that some of the vendors may have some interesting things for the kids to engage in or look at, as well. Last year, there was a robotics booth, where the vendor let the kids use remotes to control some of their creations. Also, snacks. For me, I am bringing my kids so I can get a feel for some of things THEY would be interested in joining or participating in…
I’ll help out wherever you need me! Let the fun begin!
Is start time 6:30 or 7:00?
Doors open at 6:30, speaking will begin at 7:00
Everyone, please remember to BRING YOUR CHECKBOOKS! To register that night for field trips, we will only be taking checks. Thanks!
