Frisco HIS: Special Speaker Event
Frisco HIS is pleased to welcome, Israel Wayne, to speak to our group and glad to open this event up to the public and support local homeschoolers in their journey. Doors will open at 6:30 with light refreshments and we will begin shortly after. Mr. Wayne will be donating his time to spend with our group, so in appreciation, a love offering will be taken up in his honor. All donations will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to the Wayne family. Come join us for a time of encouragement & community!
Revival In The Home
Families in America are under attack. Teenage rebellion, divorce, juvenile delinquency, emotional disorders, and relational dysfunction are way too common, even among church-goers. Studies show that the majority of Christian youth abandon the Christian faith sometime around high school graduation. How can you have a godly family in the midst of such a worldly culture? This workshop will provide practical and Biblical answers.
Israel Wayne is a homeschool graduate and father of nine who is passionate about defending the Christian faith and developing a Biblical worldview. He is a popular conference speaker who desires to see God’s people learn to think and live Biblically. He is the author of the books Homeschooling from a Biblical Worldview, Full-Time Parenting: A Guide to Family-Based Discipleship, Questions God Asks, Questions Jesus Asks , Pitchin’ a Fit: Overcoming Angry and Stressed-Out Parenting and Education: Does God Have an Opinion?. Israel has been a regular columnist for Home School Digest, Home School Enrichment and The Old Schoolhouse magazines. He is also the site editor for ChristianWorldview.net.
